Beautiful room, great hosts and delicious breakfast. There was a hot tub, but we didn't have time to use it. I was able to enjoy a soak in the large tub in our suite. Gene offered to drive us to dinner in town. The Inn wasn't too far off the trail, but it was up a couple large hills. There was bike storage inside a barn. Bed was super comfortable. Would go back again. i wished we would have had a second day there, so that we could have wandered around town, visit a winery, and enjoy the deck at the Inn. We enjoyed our conversation with Gene and Jacqui.

We stayed here May 6th, 2022. This B & B is definitely worth the hill climbs to reach it. Gene and Jacqui are gracious hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable. Gene drove us to Balducci Winery to order pizza to go, and we shared our feast with them. They offered us Augusta wines to sample, and we had a most enjoyable visit over dinner. Our bikes were waiting for us the next day in the safety of their barn. A very pleasant stay.

Stayed here while riding the KATY trail. It is not .3 miles off trail head more like almost two miles, and up some very big hills. But...thats Missouri!
Gene was great enough to drive us to one of the wineries for dinner- We were there on a monday, all restaurants and wineries closed by 5 pm. Also, no dine in due to COVID. We got our dinner to go, and enjoyed it on the Gene and Jacquie's back deck, which was lovely. We also enjoyed a nice fire pit that evening in back yard. They also have hot tub. We didn't use because we didnt have suits. They also offered us some wine. We aren't big drinkers, as we were there to ride the trail.
The room with private bath was lovely. Comfy bed and hot water. A hot bath was just what I needed after a long day on trail.
Breakfast was amazing as well. Served on some lovely china.
One thing that I might suggest, was asking about food allergies or senisitivities before making meals for guests. I don't have any allergies, but I do have sensitivities. I wasn't expecting such a great meal or I might have mentioned it. Everything was amazing. I am a big tea drinker, and Jacquie is from London- so the selection was quite impressive. Even Herbal tea. I can't have caffeine, and most places I have stayed, don't offer herbal, caffeine free tea.
I had a great stay and would recommend it highly.

Gene and Jaqui were fun to talk with. Their place is very nice and comfortable. Gene drove us into town for dinner and made our reservations at The Silly Goose. It was a great meal. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Nice inn with nice innkeepers. The room was comfortable and modern. We especially liked having our own private bathroom. The hot tub was a welcome site after a day of cycling on the Katy Trail. Gene was nice enough to take us to supper so we wouldn't have to ride up those big hills again! Breakfast was really good. The crumpits were delicious. I would stay here again, Thanks Jackie and Gene!

Neat house. Great people and service. Off the trail a bit if you don't mind that. I would not recommend reserving the $110 room because it doesn't have a stand up shower, but other than that it was a great place and I would stay there again.

We enjoyed our night stay very much. Your house is very beautiful and we enjoyed our room and the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was to die for after a long bike ride. The breakfast was excellent and helped give us extra fuel for another ride. We would recommend the swan haven to anyone!!!!!
